Unfortunately, people go missing everyday. And though we have several pages that we use now to spread information about missing people, all of us are either in school, working or both. Therefore, we do not have the time or resources to go through these pages and fill people’s requests as we did this summer. A lot of people have been asking for our help from around the country to spread information about their loved ones and we are doing the best we can. But for those of you who do not know, we have a group called “FIND MICKEY SHUNICK NOW: SEARCH RESOURCES” which has been serving as an active missing person’s page on facebook. Anyone can join and you will be able to post on there about missing people as often as possible. This link will take you to it! http://www.facebook.com/groups/360477814006959/
Hey guys, I know this isn’t local news but a tragedy has taken place in New Jersey. 12 year old Autum Pasquale was found last night after being abducted on her bicycle Saturday. Our family and the rest of the Mickey Shunick Campaign would like to send our condolences to the family and friends of this beautiful little girl. Please take the time to send some love and positive vibes to this family today ♥. Another case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

UPDATE 10/19/12: Good morning everyone… Your prayers and vigilance have paid off. We have found our sweet girl, Lacey LaNell Laurent. We know now that she is alive and well. Unfortunately, she is not coming home voluntarily and the police are not helping us. Although we are going to stop the distribution of flyers, the searches and news bulletins, we ask for your continued prayers and support as our family struggles to get through this rough time and bring our baby girl back to the loving arms and hearts of her family and friends. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Hey, Lafayette people… please repost this! My little sister is missing and we need everyone in the area to please be on the lookout – at gas stations, grocery stores, along the roads – the police are involved but she is listed as a “runaway” and not yet a missing person. We do not want to wait!!! Today is her 17th birthday… please help us find her! She is about 5’8″, 125 lbs, with long dark brown straight hair. Her name is Lacey Laurent and she might have her little black dog with her, Tito. We are sure she was at her home at some point Monday night or early Tuesday morning in the Greystone Apartments by the Mall of Acadiana.
Please share these new flyers for missing teen Keiosha Felix.

Update Friday, Sept. 21, 2012: Alabama’s Dothan Police Department issued a release on Friday morning stating the girl and her accused abductors were spotted in East Texas. Friday Afternoon, investigators believed they are looking for the girl and her accused abductors possibly being in a stolen 2003 green Toyota Sienna.
DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) – Authorities say a teenager and the stepfather who allegedly abducted her from state custody in southeast Alabama are believed to be in western Louisiana or eastern Texas. Police also say officers are on the lookout to make sure they don’t cross the U.S. border. Officials say 36-year-old Charles Partin abducted his 15-year-old stepdaughter, Ailene Lander, during a doctor’s appointment in Dothan on Monday. She was in state protective custody at the time, but officials haven’t said why. Authorities say they’ve issued warrants for Partin and the girl’s mother, Julie Bethke, who they believe is assisting her husband. A police statement says they may be seeking help from charitable organizations along the way. Police say the couple’s five other children are likely with them, possibly in a Toyota minivan.
